Mr Abdulsalam Mas’ud, CAN, from Nigeria, is a Lecturer at the Department of Accountancy, Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Jigawa State - Nigeria. He obtained a B.Sc. (Accounting) from Bayero University, Kano – Nigeria in 2005. He won prestigious Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Nigeria in 2009, which led his enrolment into M.Sc. (Oil and Gas Accounting) at Dundee Business School, UK which he graduated in 2010 with Distinction. He is currently a PhD candidate at Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia. His areas of specialization cover energy, oil and gas accounting, taxation and sustainability. He has published in high indexed journals such as Energy Policy, Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal, and Energy Education Science and Technology as well as International Journal of Research and Sustainable Development. Mas’ud is among the founding fellows of Center for Sustainability Research and Consultancy and is also part of the core organizing team of 1st International Conference on Economics Business and Social Sciences.
